Under the Whispering Door by T J Klune

Under the Whispering Door was recommended to me by my other half who is a massive fan of T J Klune and I was not disappointed.

Following the story of Wallace, a newly deceased lawyer, who doesn’t not accept that he has died, Under the Whispering Door takes a hard look at what happens when we die and what truly is a life worth lived.

The richness of the characters in this story truly brought the narrative to life and the setting of the tea shop was the perfect backdrop as the story unfolded. As tea is drank in copious amounts, Wallace comes to realise that death is only the beginning of his journey and the uncertainty of what lies beyond is as much of a mystery for the dead as it is the living.
