Cressida Cowell is one of those authors that everything she writes turns to gold. It’s not difficult to see why she has so many hit books under her belt and having had the chance to talk to Cressida through the wonderful Read for Good charity, it is no surprise who she is such an amazing author.

Which Way to Anywhere follows two sets of children, the O’Heros and the Smiths, whose lives have been pushed together after their parents marry each other. The O’Heros secretly have magic and come from a long line of people with “Gifts” but they aren’t allowed to use them freely.

When a mysterious wandering geography teacher forces the children to draw maps, K2 O’Hero realises that he possesses a gift that can only lead to trouble. What follows in an intergalactic adventure to far off planets, where the plants can kill you if the aliens don’t first.

Which Way to Anywhere had me turning the pages long into the night and I know children will love diving into this tale (my class are already excited from just seeing the cover!).
